I like my students to be inspired and to learn, to be open-minded and to explore all possibilities, to feel the connection between body, mind and breath, to grow and be creative with new ideas.
I teach a variety of Yoga Classes and Workshops spanning all levels of ability and ages. Yoga classes take place online, at locations around Eastbourne, including Sports Clubs, Yoga Studios, and outdoors in Gildredge Park during the Summer Months.
Styles of Yoga include Hatha and Anusara. I am an experienced Yoga Teacher and Instructor with a Classified Diploma from The British Wheel of Yoga. I have been practising yoga and meditation since 1994 with a range of influences on my teaching style including Classical Hatha, Iyengar and Anusara Yoga. I am qualified with The British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) and have been teaching yoga since 2002. I believe in living life to the fullest, being true to yourself and being responsible for your own health and well-being. I enjoy teaching and sharing my experience through the journey of yoga as an inward search of finding the very best within us – our true nature.
In my classes and workshops you will be practising postures, breathing exercises, meditation and relaxation. During lessons you will learn how to use breath and mindful alignment in the way you feel safe and supported in your practice as well as support your mental and emotional health. Also, I am a fundraiser for Cancer Research UK and Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice. I do fundraising events and teach Yoga in Gildredge Park during Summer time.
During Lockdown all my classes were online via Zoom platform.
