30 min of gentle yoga stretches. Then sit down, ask your questions and listen to a brilliant talk about what fats and oils are healthiest. 

For most of people’s lives, they’ve been living in fear of fat. The messages that fat will make you gain weight, fat will cause heart disease, and saturated fat is bad have kept us away from eating fat for decades. After the release of new scientific studies on fat consumption, those warnings are getting debunked and the truth about fat is finally getting its day.

Mark Killick will tell us why fat is important for our health, why it’s needed in the body, which fats we should eat and which fats should be used for cooking.

We will be focusing on Ahimsa - 'Non-Violence' for body and mind. We will be practising with Ahimsa in mind, respecting the body and honouring it’s boundaries. By respecting our boundaries and listening to our body and mind, the practice becomes wholesome and sustainable. Practicing with ‘non-violent’, loving thoughts causes dopamine (the ‘feel good’, ‘relaxation’ chemical) to be released in to the body.
